The Philadelphia Flyers have found themselves clinging to a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. They are tied with Boston and Montreal for 6th place in the East with 82 points, while 9th place Atlanta is 2 points behind them with 80 points and the 10th place Rangers with 78 points. A visit to Nassau Coliseum to face the Islanders should be exactly what the Flyers need.
