Dirty hit?
It's only one week into the season and the NHL is already dealing with a player being carried off in a stretcher from a dirty hit. Thankfully, Sabres forward Jason Pominville is doing OK after being hit from behind by the Hawks, Niklas Hjalmarrson on Sunday night. The suspension from the NHL is 2 games. Hjalmarrson is not known as a dirty player, and seems remorseful about the whole incident. However, Hockeysureshot thinks he probably should of received closer to a five game suspension. As Ryan Miller said, these kind of actions can not be taken lightly, and the league needs to have zero tolerance with dirty hits when players are left in vulnerable positions. Let us know what you think.
